Während am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz alles seinen gewohnten Gang geht, hat sich nur wenige Blocks weiter leise eine Intervention formiert. Ab dem 16. April erscheint Turn of Events des in Berlin lebenden schwedischen Künstlers Henrik Strömberg. Ein schwarz-weißes Bild eines Fahrzeugs – mehr Kreatur als Maschine – wird über der großen Verkehrskreuzung auf der Plakatwand thronen.
Das Projekt markiert den Auftakt von drei Interventionen, die anlässlich der Veröffentlichung des neuen Buches des Künstlers, Chronos: Present Ubiquitous, entwickelt wurden. Die Serie der Installationen wird sich über verschiedene Städte und Länder erstrecken; der zweite Standort sowie das Buch selbst werden im Juni angekündigt und vorgestellt.
Buch und Intervention werden von Chiara Valci Mazzara betreut.

Eng.: While everything at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz continues as usual, an intervention has quietly taken shape just a few blocks away. As of April 16, Turn of Events by Berlin-based Swedish artist Henrik Strömberg will appear. A black-and-white image of a vehicle—resembling more a beast than a machine—will loom over the major traffic junction in front of the billboard.
The project marks the first of three public interventions developed on the occasion of the launch of the artist’s new book, Chronos: Present Ubiquitous. The series of public installations will unfold across different cities and countries, with the second chapter location—as well as the book itself—to be announced and presented in June.
