Der Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, der Bierke Verlag und die Kurator*innen von CLUBS der ZUKUNFT / CLUBS of the FUTURE (Dorothee Albrecht, Mikhail Lylov und Susanne Prinz) freuen sich, Sie am Dienstag, den 6. Mai 2025 um 18 h zur Katalogvorstellung einzuladen.
Wir feiern die Release als offiziellen Abschluss der ersten konkreten Realisierung von CLUBS der ZUKUNFT, mit großem Dank an alle Beteiligten und mit der Perspektive, gemeinsam über weitere Orte und Formate nachzudenken – idealerweise in Form nachhaltiger Austauschprojekte auf dem Land oder im östlichen Europa.
Weiterhin aktuell bleibt:
CLUBS der ZUKUNFT nimmt gemeinschaftliche Räume weltweit, insbesondere Kulturhäuser in Europa und der DDR, als Ausgangspunkt und eröffnet einen Reflexionsraum zu aktuellen Projekten des Gemeinschaftlichen, des Commoning und der Reform. Das Projekt findet in einer Zeit des Wandels statt, in der kollaborative Praktiken, alternative Ökonomien, neue Netzwerke sowie gemeinsame zivile Räume und Gesellschaften neu erprobt und ausgehandelt werden.
Wie können wir einen gemeinsamen Raum zwischen unterschiedlichen Bildern, Ideen und Materialien, Entitäten, Identitäten, Gruppen und Gemeinschaften schaffen, einen öffentlichen Raum, einen beweglichen Zwischenraum, Versuchsraum oder einen Verhandlungsraum, der sich zwischen unterschiedlichen Perspektiven aufspannt, ohne diese zu nivellieren?
Mit zwei Ausstellungen und zahlreichen Veranstaltungen und Workshops entstand im Sommer/Herbst 2024 ein visuell-materiell-diskursiv-poetischer Raum, der in verschiedenste Richtungen offen ist und sich weiterentwickeln kann.

We are celebrating the release as the official conclusion of the first concrete realisation of CLUBS of the FUTURE, with many thanks to all those involved and with the prospect of thinking together about further places and formats – ideally about sustainable exchange formats with projects in the countryside or in Eastern Europe.
Still topical:
CLUBS of the FUTURE departs from communal spaces in different parts of the world, in particular Houses of Culture across Europe and in the GDR, and opens up a space for reflection on current projects of collectivity, commoning and reform. The project takes place in a time of transition in which practices of collaboration, alternative economies, novel networks, shared civic spaces and societies are being renegotiated and put to the test.
How can we create a shared space among different entities, images, ideas and materials, identities, groups and communities – a space open to the public, a flexible in-between space, a space for experimentation and negotiation, spanning different perspectives without equalizing them?
With two exhibitions and numerous events and workshops, a visual-material-discursive-poetic space was created in the summer/autumn of 2024. It is open in diverse directions and can also continue to develop in a variety of ways.
